The marantz "Linea" AOI systems offer a scalable AOI solution that delivers the highest return on investment in the industry. From benchtop to in- line automatic optical inspection, marantz Linea delivers performance and reliability that is among the most technically advanced in the industry as well as being competitively priced. Users can begin with the benchtop marantz DL14, DL18 , or DL26 systems, and then add the marantz Linea in-line systems later on with the knowledge that software and programs are completely compatible.

Job set up is rapid, and typically uses a "golden board" with back up from centroid data. The programming can also be achieved offline using a benchtop marantz DL series machine. The marantz Linea will check for component verification (type/part no.), positional accuracy (shift/twist/tombtsone), bridging, nomenclature, absence/presence, polarity and other defects with high throughput and a surprisingly low false alarm rate. After scanning, the system will prioritize defects found and show the defect on the system monitor for verification. Data can be collected for each inspection coordinate and then analyzed off line. marantz is a market leader with over 3,400 systems installed. They are the only AOI manufacturer that actually developed a system from within a high volume printed circuit board assembly operation.
